The X1 Razor

Compatible with the Gillette Fusion blade, it features a small magnet at the base of the handle and stand, with an anti-gravity effect that takes your shaving experience to the next level. The X1 Matte range was awarded GQ’s Grooming’s Best Razor in 2020 and makes for the perfect gift to elevate his grooming routine.

Made in the UK

All Bolin Webb razors are cast from a Zinc alloy sourced from Birmingham, England. Crafted by experts in manufacturing, the alloy ingot is melted down before being injected into a mould. Once the mould has cooled down, any imperfections are corrected, and all razors that fail inspection are melted and recycled. Each razor is buffed and polished by hand to ensure an immaculate standard.

What is the design inspiration behind Bolin Webb razors?

Painted in classic racing colours, such as the British Racing Green R1 Razor Set,  and streamlined like modern supercars, Bolin Webb razors take inspiration from the luxury motor industry. Each model is hand-sprayed with high-quality, premium automotive paints and then lacquered for a durable finish, giving them their signature sleek finish. 

Gilette blades

Gilette is known for its precision and accuracy, which is why all Bolin Webb razors are supplied with Gilette blades, which are preferred for their low cutting force, for an effortless and comfortable glide. All R1 razor handles are compatible with the Gillette Mach 3 blade, and all X1 razor handles use a Gillette Fusion5 Blade, to ensure an enjoyable, high-performance shave every time.

Who is Derrick Webb of Bolin Webb?

At the time when founder Derrick Webb came up with the design concept for Bolin Webb, razors and shaving tools were mostly available in high street supermarkets and pharmacies, with little choice of premium products with superior blade performance. Frustrated by the lack of diversity and quality on the market, Derrick founded Bolin Webb with the mission to bring superior-quality razors to the modern man, that excelled in handling, appearance and performance. The initial R1 razor was designed as a razor to enjoy, and this has become the philosophy for the entire range.
